Dance Dance Dance (museum)

again, sorry for the lack of capitalization. keyboard problems.

on the 8th rosh and i went to the v and a museum -where cha works- to bum around a bit. i wanted to see the bed of ware. then we went to the natural history museum...mostly for the purpose of taking pictures.
i think it's safe to say that wherever a lady wore this dress it wasn't easy to get through a crowd.

outside the natural history museum
the building is quite beautiful. it was built specifically as a natural history museum, so there are a lot of creatures built in to the architecture.

following the not-so-yellow brick road. (sorry some of these are flipped and some aren't. Rosh's camera is smart enough to know to flip them...mine i have to do manually and it's a pain)

hiding...
running away

this one has to be my favorite for the simple fact that we actually asked someone to take this.

after cha got off from work we headed to camden to the show, but cha decided to take us to primrose hill first. if you're in london it's worth the trek.
not only was it quite a steep walk, the wind was harsh.

hello, london.

when we finally got to the round house it was amazing. we had so much fun. there were people doing acrobatics, which was pretty amazing, and the music was great.

this band was amazing. very jazzy. i have the name somewhere...inquire within.
this picture's for chandni, of course.
if you can't tell, cha is wearing the most amazing earrings. they're wicker bird cages with parrots inside.
beardy man. the most amazing beat boxer ever. i took a video that i was going to add, but nothing's ever as good when recorded with a crappy camera, so sorry.
just when we thought it was going pretty well, it got better and a girl playing sax and flute, and a guy playing the guitar joined mr. beard and his other dj friend.
dancing happened.
a lot

i've actually never danced so much. bad ankle and all.
after the hour of drum and bass we refreshed and waited for dj zane lowe to do his hour set. which was the most amazing set in history. we all danced the entire hour...no joke...non stop.

we each decided that marrying zane lowe would be prime...chantal especially. you can just see the joy on the girl's face. she's been following lowe for about 10 years, though, so this was her moment.

there he is
it was the only time ever than i've not been even a little ready to leave a gig, but we had to catch the last train.

it's a bit sad, i have to admit, posting these pictures from somewhere besides the comforts of london. i miss my girls so much.
