London Day One & 2

My flight to London was good. It came in nearly an hour early, so it took about 5 hours 45 minutes instead of 6 and a half hours. There was a nice girl sitting next to me on the flight, Emeline. She was a bit pretentious, but still nice as far as people to sit next to on a flight. I slept most of the way, which was nice. My foot was giving me major problems, so it was a bit difficult to get comfortable, unfortunately, so sleep wasn't constant.
Anyway, I landed and had an interesting time going through customs. How could I possibly be visiting friends for 7 weeks?! Cha has informed me that they're literally not allowed to smile. Of course. Since my flight was so early I was expecting to be sitting and waiting for Rosh for a while, but that girl is on the ball. I only waited about 5 minutes before she was running through the doors. The video at the bottom is of us in the car.
This, surprisingly, is the vehicle we got behind. I'm dedicating this one to Lindsey because I'm ALWAYS talking to her about Primark. :)


No sooner had I come through the door than Roshni's mum had me on the couch with my foot on her lap so she could rub it with ointment. It was quite amazing.
After we brought the bags up to the room, Rosh and I went with her mum to do some work errands, so I got to see all of Wembley and small bits of Ealing.

After she got off work, Cha came over to see me! Oh my god, how I missed this girl! How I missed both of these girls. And how I love these girls! Just look at them. :)

I don't know why my face looks like that. Sheer joy, maybe?

Since I've been put on rest because of my foot everyone's been doting on me. This morning mum took my breakfast plate to the table for me, actually, because she didn't want me to strain myself. :)
So, this is Rosh, Cha, and little sis Bhavini working on setting the table for dinner.

uugghh...I forgot to flip this. This is the back garden. I took it this morning. Not the best weather today.




So, speaking of today....I've been on bed rest because my foot has gotten much worse. Ankle, really. It's hurting worse and the pain has spread. The swelling's not better. Not good news. So, after persuasion from Cha and Rosh I've decided to go to the hospital tonight after Rosh gets home to get X-Rays. This should be interesting. Hopefully it doesn't cost this lowly traveler too much precious money. No doubt that I'll keep everyone updated.
