Day 1

My first day back in NY..first full day..was pretty amazing. So amazing, in fact, that I ended up spraining my ankle. It keeps getting worse, too, which is amazing. Today I'm just resting it and catching up.
Here's how that first day went...

We (Jenn and I) were going to go to the park because the weather was amazing...60 and sunny...but we ended up wandering different avenues instead. Literally.

We started out by visiting my old apartment.
(front gate)

(that's my door on the left...and the bathroom "window")

(the courtyard from the stairwell)

Then we walked over to the East River Walk.

then ate at my favorite pizza place...

...had my favorite slice (tomato basil)
We went by my old job after, but instead of going to the park we took the tram to Roosevelt Island. It was nice to take Jenn somewhere she hadn't been.
Here's us...me looking cracked out...

amazing weather...Queensboro Bridge

OH SHIP!!!

Here's us again

This will be much nicer once I fix it up a bit in iPhoto, but it's still nice...you can see the Chrysler Building and the ESB

After we came back to the city we wandered trying to figure out how to spend the little time we had before we had to go home and get ready for the evening, and we ended up bumping into Dylan's Candy Bar. We got this beast of a sundae and ate less than half of it. It was insane.

After sugar rush central we went back to Jenn's place in Queens to get ready for going out to Nobu with Lana (who I went to Hunter wth).
Here's us on the train

Here's the three of us at Nobu with my "birthday" plate.

they don't have to know that it's not my birthday.

We didn't want to go home after dinner so we ended up at Latin night at some bar
Jenn was showing off her chopstick skills with sangria fruit. I was trying to teach the girls to eat rice with chopsticks...they were pretty good, actually.
Lana worked it out, too. Cute face. :)
I just giggle
all gone
I have more and will share later.
Until next time....
