How Could I Forget?

I thought I was completely done with picture sharing of pictures from England. Oops. I forgot about my big fat day of being a complete tourist on a tour bus with a tour group. Not my favorite scene, but it was still an amazing day. May 7th I went on a trip to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and Bath.
Statue of Queen Victoria outside of Windsor Castle. Rosh and I saw this tiny crown that she's wearing when we went to the Tower of London. Very sparkly.

The Albert Memorial Chapel is home to the burial place of many kings and queens....including Henry VIII. I tried to be slick and take a picture without anyone noticing, but there are people watching EVERYWHERE, so I decided instead not to get yelled at.
Changing of the guard...took forever. I almost missed my bus because they wouldn't let anyone out.

Stonehenge
Burial mounds...they're all over.

I've heard from so many people that this isn't as amazing in person as you'd expect, but I thought it was amazing.

The Heel Stone

Feels like rock. I'm not breaking the law, these are set aside to be touched.

Bath
was amazing. It had the same feel to me as SF does. It looks nothing line SF (apart from the hills) but it still reminded me of it for some reason.
above the Roman baths there's this restaurant building where you can drink Bath water...it's supposedly good for you, so I partook.

It's very...uhm...sulfuric...with a rotten egg quality to the smell. I just downed it, so I couldn't tell you much about the taste except for the fact that it's salty.

In a moment Luke would be proud of, I sat in this park and read for about thirty minutes. It was really lovely.

I really think this sculptor was doing some stuff at Hunter when Varsi and I were taking ceramics there. Sorry for the sideways pics.

If you get the chance to do the tour with an 'authentic Roman soldier' then opt out. Nice guy...very lame performance, NO good info sharing.

It was really nice to see Windsor, Stonehenge, and Bath but time was too short. It would have been nice to spend more time at each place. It was really nice to go home after. :)
