12 April -- Easter in Oxford

Oxford...our first day trip. We had so much fun walking around and having pub lunch. Chantal went to Oxford, so she was a lovely tour guide. Sorry I'm so tired I'm not going to write much. Uploading pictures takes forever, and I'm sure you'd rather see pics than read me ramble. So, on with the pictures and video!
Gassing up:

We drove to the park and ride (not the same one they were at when James was here since we got a bit lost and took a different motorway in) then took the bus in to city centre. This is where we were dropped, at the Carfax Tower.

Then we walked (there's Cha!)

There are tons of little alleyways in Oxford that are amazing.

There they are again up there waiting for me to take my pictures ;)

I present you with reading material if you are interested.

I messed this one out, but I still like it.

This one's much better

BIRDS!

Bored. I guess when you live somewhere for years you don't really care to do tourist.

Hilarious

Random dead Ravin. Likely a practical joke, but who knows.

The following pictures are taken in the church you can see there in the distance.

One of a few amazing cemetaries we went past.

The Eagle and Child pub is where The Inklings met. Look it up

We had some ice cream at G&D

Then went to the park

I wondered at this point if I should be worried that the tour guide was looking at the map...but Oxford is way too small to get lost, really.

The drive home was interesting. You may be worried (Mom, Dad, others) but there were others going even faster. We had to do something to prove that cribbage hasn't made us grouchy old men.

When we got home we had a nice sit by the fire with Alfie.

Here's some videos for you. Enjoy. I'm going to sleep (as soon as the hour and a half of these uploading passes) :)
