10 April at the V&A (Cha's work)

Today, as with the days that have been passing lately, started with some cribbage and lazing around, but we eventually got out and about to the Victoria and Albert Museum, where Cha works as a librarian...oops, I mean an information professional (or something like that).
Anyway, here's some pictures.
The museum garden view from the main library entrance.

The library with Cha standing down there at the other doors. It was closed, but she was able to sneak us in for a peek.

The view from the other side.

This is the museum dining area. The lights in there are amazing, as is the general architecture.

Plaster cast tombs.

a plaster cast of David...that was closed off. I didn't realize how huge he is.

The outside of the museum. We came up through the tube tunnel and left through the front doors. Why I share that bit of info, I have no idea.

I loved this street. You can see Harrods there.

We went in to Harrods for a bit. We just rode the escalator to the top then back down and out.

The top!

The store is massive. I realize that I may have put more pictures of Harrods than the museum, but I promise you that we had a much better time in the museum, we just couldn't take pictures everywhere. We saw an amazing exhibit of hats, among other things.

Then we came home and had fish and chips from the take away down the street.

The end.
