In the meantime, I have a super triple-birthday bonanza to celebrate, a 10 day semi-spontaneous trip to India, and a Q-Tip concert to attend (which is a close second to the main highlight of my March which is having Jessica over)...
While I had feared in the past few months that the relentless and bitter cold would never subside, I'm glad to report that - shock horror! - it's beginning to warm up a little! Obviously nothing like the unforgiving heat I'm going to experience in India next week, but still pleasant. We're into double-figures in temperature (that's in centigrade) which is, from my perspective, a cause for celebration. So I celebrated by daring to step out of the house with no coat or scarf, only a sweatshirt on. What liberation!
I'm sure it'll warm up by the time Jess gets here though. My memory for the past 20 years of the March-May season has always been me stuck in a library/classroom/exam hall with the sun shining outside. Academic life stole the real British summer from me; this year I intend to reclaim it!

I'm literally crying right now, you have no idea. What an amazing picture of you three! I loved the picture in your facebook pics of you and Cha in some deep and meaningful conversation. I miss you two. I miss your sister and I have yet to meet her. I'm predicting how much I'm going to miss her when this is all over (but we don't speak of such things as of yet).

And...Best ending line ever. haha. Sorry you didn't realize I was catching a redeye on the 24th, but I'll get there and we'll have the whole day to laze around and cuddle. I'm going to look like a hot mess when I land, by the way...don't expect anything more ;)
